What type of mortgage should I get?

To determine the best mortgage for your new home, we recommend getting in touch with an independent financial advisor who can guide you through the process that best suits you.

Will I need a conveyancer when purchasing a new-build home?

A conveyancer will be needed, they will take care of making sure all common spaces on new developments are agreed upon, that roads are correct, and that efficient accessibility is achieved. They will also manage all your contracts.

Do I need a survey when buying a new build?

Yes, a survey will be carried out on your new home on behalf of your mortgage provider. This is an expert inspection of your property’s condition, giving you full peace of mind before you move.

When will I need to pay the deposit?

The deposit is required to be paid at the exchange of contracts.

Can I make changes to the property during the build?

Depending on the stage of the construction of your new home, you can add extras and adjust your property to suit your needs, these may be subject to further costs that affect the sale price.

Will I be able to select my own fittings and furnishings?

You can personalise your new home by choosing from our selection of kitchen cabinets, bathroom fixtures, and other items.

When will my property be finished?

This all depends on the build programme for your chosen home, the site manager and your dedicated sales consultant will go through the completion dates with you.

What will happen if there is a delay on my property’s completion?

Your dedicated sales consultant will accompany you at every stage of the buying process, if there are any delays this will be communicated with you at the soonest available time.

Will insurance be needed to complete my purchase?

You will need to have insurance in place before the completion date.

When can I collect the keys to my new home?

Once the build is completed and the funds have been processed and cleared by the bank, we will hand over your keys to your new home.
